Horrifying moment hippo shot dead by French hunter in front of cheering locals after straying into Senegal town

A HIPPO was shot to death by a French hunter after the local government was unable to find tranquilliser darts. Locals cheered the animal was gunned in the village of Kédougou, in southern Senegal after wandering in got caught in a septic tank.
